OC4CC x PCS

“Open your Course for Climate Crisis” meets "Public Climate School"

„Open your Course for the Climate Crisis” or OC4CC is a week of action happening each semester and organized by the ÖH, Fridays for Future, Students for Future, Teachers for Future and Scientists for Future. The next OC4CC is on the 22nd to 26th of November in cooperation with the Students for Future Germany’s „Public Climate School“ (PCS).

Let’s come together and bring the climate crisis into our schools, because:

Education is the key to change!

How can I contribute, when I am a ...

...student?

The climate crisis will impact us, the youngest generation, the most. And yet, there is little space to discuss and get informed about it in our schools.

As part of PCS, you can, as a student, get involved and bring climate crisis related teaching into your classroom. Ask your teacher to be part of PCS and to talk about the climate crisis with you!

You can find everything about PCS here.

Act upon Science

Climate change is the defining crisis of our time. We are already experiencing its effects - Extreme weather, heatwaves and droughts. Scientists have been urging humanity to take steps in order to limit warming under 1.5 degrees for many years now.

To stop a climate catastrophe, it is necessary that everyone is informed about this crisis. By taking part in OC4CC, Scientists, Teachers, Schools and Universities are simultaneously supporting the demand of Fridays for Future and integrating the climate crisis into teaching.
